EXIT THE CHURCH AS A BUILDING ... ENTER THE KINGDOM AS A LIFESTYLE

When God moved across the river Jordan, it was because He wanted His people to follow Him into a total lifestyle of His provision. He wanted them to shift from a mentality of living from miracle to miracle, to live and move and have their being in Him. He wanted them to conquer and settle down in their inheritance. He is their inheritance.  He wanted them to shift from a slavery mentality to a mature Kingdom lifestyle. He wanted them to move from Moses the master to “come walk with me” as Adam and Eve did in the garden. What was left on the wilderness side of the river Jordan was now void of the awe of God. The generation that planted and operated the desert, remained in the desert. They made a wrong decision. They were unable to renew their minds. They were unable to relate to God on a different level. They did not want to let go and let God. They had a slave mentality. They could not grow up and see God as a Father. This principle is still in operation today. I knew that sooner or later we would have to move on from the Pentecostal experience to the charismatic explosion. I also knew that I would walk out of the charismatic boundaries into the “the things to come”. There are thousands of people who exited the present church in the past decade. They were very much like Abraham.

HEBREWS 11:8 (NKJV): by faith Abraham obeyed when He was called to go out to the place which He would receive as an inheritance. And He went out, not knowing where He was going.

They left not knowing were they were going.  I believe that it is time for all those believers that have been labelled as “backsliders” to arise and take up their responsibilities in the Kingdom of God. Your wineskin has been renewed. You are now “unchurched” (to remove the status of being a church from a building). You are ready to receive the new wine. You understand that Christianity is a lifestyle, a being not a doing. You are now not considering your rights as a member of a congregation anymore. But you understand that you have a responsibility in the Kingdom of God.

Right now you are tired of the lifestyle you are living, you are frustrated, you are not just hungry for God, you want what God has got for you, you are searching, you are looking for something and you do not know where or what it will look like. You are wondering, “what about my children and my grandchildren, how will they ever get to know the real God. Not the God of organised religion, but Father God. But you are free from the bondages of organised religion. You are scared to “go back”. Well, you do not have to go back. God does not go back. You can move your life forward into what God has got in store for you. You are ready to be reloaded. You are ready for the Kingdom of God. You are part of the pioneers that will build the bridge between the present and the future. You will help to lead in the future purposes of God. You do not care about what the people say. You know that there is more. You are inspired to arise to your calling by the depravity of the society around you. The things that touch the heart of God also touch your heart.  *you are ready to live your vision and calling with like spirited people in society everyday.

Well, you are ready to enter the Kingdom of God as a lifestyle

*We are anointed to live a grand life, an obvious lifestyle that is flavoured with the fruit of the Spirit and supernatural gifts as our cutting edge. Our calling is to display the life of Christ in our normal everyday life. We are a demonstration of the Kingdom of God. We are not in the earth to “fit in”. We understand God has made us to “stand out”! Our identity is Christ the risen saviour, not a building or an organisation. We will live by the word, because the word lives in us.

MATTHEW 5:3-16 (NLT) 3 “God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for Him, for the Kingdom of heaven is theirs.  God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted.  God blesses those who are humble, for they will inherit the whole earth.  God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be satisfied.  God blesses those who are merciful, for they will be shown mercy.  God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God.  God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God.  God blesses those who are persecuted for doing right, for the Kingdom of heaven is theirs.  “God blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers.  Be happy about it! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted in the same way.  “You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavour? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless.  “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.  No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house.  In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.

The entire world is waiting for different Christians to emerge from the cozy confines of the church. The ground itself longs to see the sons of God, a tribe with the power of the Holy Spirit indwelling their lives, rise up. To them the experience of miraculous is largely irrelevant; those mighty works don't matter nearly as much as the one making them possible.

He who governs himself governs others. He who has conquered himself can conquer others. We can do but little to train others in principles in which we have never been trained. We cannot project moulding forces when we have never been fashioned by those forces (E M Bounds).
