"THE KINGDOM OF GOD"

Definition of church: whatever you think the church should be is you’re definition of the church that you will live by. The biggest enemy of the manifestation of the Kingdom of God is the unrenewed mind of man. Not understanding the seasons of God. Thinking that God is stationary. Thinking that God cannot do something new that is diametrically opposed to the traditional norm. You cannot enter the Kingdom of God without renewing your mind, without breaking your mindsets. There has to be an upgrade of your relationship with Father God. For this purpose Father God brings change so that there can be an upgrade of our static relationship with Him. When you have your own mindsets or will, then you must understand that God will never impose Himself on you. He will never violate your will. You are in control of your own house (life). When God comes to you, He will knock and wait for you to open….then if you open and invite Him in …… then He will come in. When the word of God goes out, we need to make a transaction with God. The new covenant is already signed in the blood of Jesus. It is awaiting our decision of acceptance and commitment to a signature.

What are the principles involved here? – spying out the land!
God the Father will never give you something without showing you first. Then you decide. Then you either remain in your wilderness or you cross over into your land of promise. E.g.: Egypt, prophecy about Promised Land, spies, they were not capable to receive it, 40 years training and setting up God’s order in the desert. You cannot fail in the school of God, you just keep on doing the same thing until you pass. Then Joshua and Caleb went to possess the promised land with those who wanted it. It is our responsibility to develop the capacity, competence and power to possess the promises of God. When God gives us something in prophecy, it becomes our responsibility to give it legs and make it walk. We need to develop ourselves to such an extent that when it comes …. we will be able to handle it, without messing it up. Why do so many people who receive a word from God personally or prophetically seldom see the fruit of it? They never upgrade themselves to be able to handle it when the Lord releases it to them. We must critically examine our current picture of God and determine whether it is strong enough for the next stage of our lives and calling.
Every promise in the word of God is ‘yes and amen’ and is for us in the God appointed season and we will realize it if we are not bound by a stagnant ‘church’ attitude. Unbelief is a binding system in the mind that keeps us from believing God. By faith, trust and confidence in God we develop ourselves to a place where we can embrace the promises of God. God is waiting, standing at the door of your heart, He is knocking, and He is waiting for your permission to work in and through you.           

Church: ecclesia – called out ones 
A group of people called out from various walks of life to come together to discuss Kingdom business. The called out ones are a witness of the fullness of Christ. Called out from various ethnic groups, forming a new ethnic group, called the ‘chosen generation’. In the world there are only three ethnic groups Jews, gentiles and church. Jesus spoke about church twice and of the Kingdom numerous times. The word church is never used to describe a building.

Needless to say that it will be quite an accomplishment for unbelieving believers to break free from the lawful discriminating system of church. Under the old covenant only the Levites could minster in the temple. It is very much the same in the church today, only certain people of certain standing can do certain things in the church. The bulk must sit and listen and spectate, never getting an opportunity to participate. That is why God said the tabernacle of David will be restored. (Acts 15: 30) the ark (presence of God) on a hill. Everybody could approach God. No more any mediators.

We are so busy anointing the chairs, pulpit, and corners of the church. We should anoint the people, church is about people. Real church makes the priesthood redundant. Real church is about everybody gets to participate. Real church is not about the deity (fulltime paid staff) training the laity to do the work of the ministry after they have labored 6 - 7 days of the week, to tithe and pay the budget. The present day ‘exclusive’ church is not the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God is non discriminatory and all inclusive.

The Kingdom of God is about relationships, between the family of God, vertical and horizontal. It is such solid relationships that prevent the church from being scattered and going in circles in the desert.

Church: is when people come together in a building to fulfill another mans aspirations.

Kingdom of God: when men and women of God, busy fulfilling their God given destiny come together to celebrate the greatness of their King. The five fold ministry team in that setup is there to build Christ into them with the view of them building the Kingdom (people). The Kingdom of God is the establishing of God’s rule in the earth as it is in the heaven. The Kingdom of God is not about employment but deployment. Employment is when you employ people to do the work of the ministry that you are supposed to be. Deployment is when you deploy the principles of the Kingdom in the lives of the normal everyday Christians, which will enable them to build the Kingdom of God.

What is the difference between the two? The one is law, rulership from the front, from the leadership like the high priest. The other is the highest form of Godly government, ‘self government’. The Holy Ghost of God ruling from the inside is governing that man. The new covenant – the law of God in the heart of man.

The Kingdom life style is a seven day of the week, spiritual journey manifesting in a demonstration of God in your neighborhood.

Acts 2:46 (nkjv) so continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaKing bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,
The home where there needs to be a weight of the presence and glory of God is void of this precious divine ambiance because we just sleep and eat there. We need to clean our homes from the leaven of the Sadducees, Pharisees and the scribes (law full judgment) so that the gracious, merciful life of Christ can be restored in our homes. Every home needs to become a beachhead in enemy territory. Every home becomes a powerful ministry center, from where the power of God’s love flows to a desperate and dying neighborhood.
When you do this, then you are living the mandate. You are now making the Kingdoms of this world the Kingdoms of our God.
When the Kingdom, comes together it is not a congregation of people, no, it is a congregation of churches.

If you would be daring enough to create a new wineskin, I can assure you God is waiting and extreme enough to fill that wineskin with new promise, divine inspiration and restore your childlike anticipation of the Holy Spirit.
